It’s a life we all wish we lived – but at least we’re able to experience through the glitz and glamour of our favourite fashion television shows.
So take a seat on your couch – or better yet, kick up your feet in bed – grab that remote and watch one of these eight shows that never go out of style.
1. Glamorous

She graced our screens through the 90s with Sex and the City, and we are oh so lucky to have her grace them again in the new American drama comedy series Glamorous – Kim Cattrall stars as legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, who is trying to revolutionise the fashion industry with the help of her new intern: Marco Mejia – played by Ben J. Pierce.
2. Sex and the City

An oldie but a goodie. While Sex and the City doesn’t market itself as a fashion TV show – Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe says otherwise. For those who are new to this cult-classic, the six season show follows the lives of four women who live in New York. All with wildly different career paths and lifestyle choices, this group of best friends stick together through thick and thin – and look good while doing it.
3. And Just Like That

Loved Sex and the City but feel like watching something new? The original cast members are back with their Jimmy Choos and Birkins for a new show, where Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte transitioning from the friendship they had in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
4. Queer Eye

A decade ago we were lucky enough to witness the original Queer Eye, where five gay men help a straight man who needs help in different areas of his life. Ten years later, and with a whole new team, Queer Eye is on our screens again and changing the lives of everyday people, from lifestyle, home interiors, hair styling, and yep, you guessed it – fashion.
5. Project Runway

Fans of reality tv, and fashion – unite! Project Runway has 19 seasons full of fashion flops, fashion firsts, and fashion fabulous-ness. Each season follows a team of budding designers looking to make it in the industry; they’re given set tasks, time frames, and budgets to execute something showstopping. We highly recommend Project Runway if you’re looking for drama and style at the same time.
6. Gossip Girl

We know this is an American drama series, but the wardrobes in Gossip Girl make it a stylish fashion show at the same time. The series follows a group of teens as they navigate life on the Upper East Side of New York. There’s drama, fighting, love, and a whole lot of designer clothes in the mix. Be sure to give this a watch if you haven’t yet.
7. Emily in Paris

Oui! One of our all time favourite shows – Emily in Paris – is perfect for any occasion. The show follows Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins), an American college graduate in her late twenties who moves to Paris for an unexpected job opportunity. The whole show is divine, the scenery, the acting, and of course the wardrobes!
8. Next in Fashion

If you loved Project Runway, and are looking for the next best thing, let us introduce you to Next in Fashion. The series follows a team of ten designers from around the world who are tasked to design a collection of ten dream looks in only three days. The winner has the chance to take home $200,000, and the oppourtunity to be anointed the title of “next in fashion”.
