1. Industry

Think of this as Succession, but for the world of investment banking, which isn’t too far of a leap, really. Industry promises to be sex, drugs and hedge fund managers, basically, and with a cast of exciting new rising stars and a script penned by Girls’ creator Lena Dunham, we’re definitely going to be tuning in.

The ensemble cast includes Australian legends including Alex Dimitriades, Robyn Nevin, Noni Hazlehurst and Brendan Cowell. A well-made series on a difficult and thought-provoking subject.

What would any given month be without some kind of psychological thriller for us all to obsess over? 8. For All Mankind season 2

The first season of this thoughtful and compelling space drama posed the question: what if the US hadn’t won the race to the moon? What if, instead, a Russian rocket had landed first? How might the world look if that had been the case?

There are a few series out there posing similar ‘what if’ questions The Man In The High Castle is a good example and this is one of the best. With a case that includes Jodi Balfour, Cynthy Wu and Joel Kinnaman, it’s well-acted, well-scripted and addictive to watch.

9. Ginny & Georgia

Is Ginny & Georgia a heist caper? Is it a crime series? Is it a family comedy? Is it a road movie? Well, what about a combination of both? This Netflix series, which has already drawn comparisons to Gilmore Girls and Dead To Me, is a quirky take on a mother-daughter comedy, with its story of a free-spirited woman and her two children trying to find a new home after being on the run.

It’s big-hearted and watchable and we’re sure it’s going to be a big hit on Netflix.
