It's Official: Carbon is Cancelled

As of mid-2019, we are carbon neutral. We offset the emissions our business is responsible for, and are certified through OEKO-TEX. This means we measure, reduce and offset our greenhouse gas emissions with biodiverse reforestation planting in South-West Australia. In time, it will help fight climate change, promote sustainable development and re-establish the environment. 

We’re OEKO-TEX 100 Certified

At Bed Threads, we are committed to continually reducing our environmental footprint. It’s one of the reasons we chose to produce our buttery soft threads in 100% French flax linen - a fabric that needs less water and fewer pesticides to cultivate than others. This is why Bed Threads has been awarded the Standard 100 certification from internationally-recognised textile testing company OEKO-TEX (aka the Zurich-based International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology). An OEKO-TEX 100 certification enables consumers to make responsible and ethical decisions that protect our planet and ensures products are manufactured in a fair way.
